For the reason I don't quite understand emerald is a stone that "doesn't want to be photographed" (it doesn't apply to any other stone). Finally we found a photographer who agreed to take pictures for us (two before him tried and run away in horror) but his pictures when good are usually artistic-surrealistic interpretation. A couple of minor/very minor fissures.
Depends on the position face up may look as a one very short (2-3 mm) thin line or two small dots. I was about to write If the stone was a standard 1 ct, I could grade clarity Type 3 VVS-VS but didn't. Because of a few things.
First, if the stone was 1 ct fissure would be 4.45 times smaller and they would be barely visible to invisible. Second, because the stone has absolutely incredible especially for the dark stone crystal of the finest water transparency. However, when it comes to Type 3 (most included and considered to be always included) nobody pays a smallest attention to inclusions unless a stone is so heavily included that is virtually non-transparent. Color first, weight second, - that's it actually cut is no less important. Bad cut uneven distribution of color, possible drop offs and/or window. That's why I priced it so unreasonably low. They are not industry, they are strictly educational institution.
Without seeing real stone it is decent. But in actuality it is not. Transparency is shown well even though it is still not striking transparency of the real stone. Lighter than the real stone it doesn't have a fraction of its brightness.
Color is wrong of course and it couldn't be otherwise: the stone has an amazing Top Grade color; digital cameras don't have enough resolution for it and all colors are altered by camera filters and many other factors. Gorgeous extremely intensive inner glow cannot be photographed at all. Well, once upon a time I wrote in all descriptions even without looking at the picture - for reference purposes only.
